Hi! My name is Jennifer Evans. I am now in my 24th year of teaching. After being in first grade for 20 years, I am now in my third year of teaching second grade, and I am really enjoying it! I taught Title I and K-2 music my first of teaching and was very pleased to get into a regular education classroom.
I received my undergrad from Southwest Minnesota State in Marshall in 1992 and my Master's in Education also from Southwest Minnesota State in 2000.
My husband, Dennis and I have four children. Stacey, Chelsey, Cassie and Jake. Stacey just got married this summer to a great guy named Ryan Baedke. She is a part time counselor at the K-1 school in Vermillion, S.D. Chelsey is a third grade teacher in Marshall, so I also have a Marshall Tiger!. Cassie is now in her junior year at S.D.S.U. majoring in Exercise Science. We're down to one at home, Jake, and he's a senior at P.A.S. We keep ourselves plenty busy by going to our children's athletic events. I also coach C-squad volleyball and junior high softball and I love it! |
